Approaching Cross-Cultural Design
ABSTRACT
Approaching Cross-Cultural Design is a brief look into the world of cross-cultural and multicultural design. In our ever more globalized world, knowing how to approach design for other cultures is becoming increasingly important, especially when done so in an ethical manner. Andrew Lafferty aims to use his exhibit and booklet to express the importance of cross-cultural design for both consumers and creatives going into the future, in the hopes of making designers less afraid to approach it within their own work.

DEPARTURE

Andrew would like to take things slow and slowly, stay in Minneapolis for a while, and find his place in the world of graphic design. Though digital design and physical print mediums are some of the things he enjoys the most, he plans to keep an open mind and try everything the world has to offer. As he progresses in his work and becomes more skilled as a designer, he hopes for opportunities for travel, so he can continue his interest and pursuit of learning about other nations and cultures of the world.
