ABSTRACT
Step into the glamorous world of POPSTAR, a party-style competitive card game based on iconic pop culture moments. This game blends the nostalgic, retrofuturistic design of the early 2000s female musical artists with their notorious celebrity scandals. Players take on the persona of a pop star and draw cards to determine their star status; success, drama, and scandal are sure to follow as players engage with each other. While designed to be a lighthearted card game, POPSTAR offers an exploration of the challenges faced by female artists as they navigate the complexities of building their personal brand within the music industry. This exhibit will be an homage to young adults who grew up watching these icons conquer the stage that provides a platform for viewers to appreciate the resilience and creativity required of female artists to thrive in a male-dominated industry.

DEPARTURE
Autumn plans to move to Los Angeles, CA this October to pursue a career in both graphic design and dance. She will continue expanding her design skills while teaching dance this summer in Minneapolis. She hopes to do design work related to the dance, social media, or the talent industry.
