Ian is a creative designer who enjoys photography, digital editing, animation and film. Based in the midwest from Rochester Minnesota, having a deep interest in the various design genres that take place within a film setting, he hopes to learn and create work reagarding many of these different design avenues. Intriqued by the constantly changing landscape of film and its many design aspects, Ian's hope is to provide his own interpretations with a different and unique twist through original and professional work.

ABSTRACT
"Ai Ethics: The Pending Duality of a New Age" is a look into the plausible future we may soon find ourselves in regarding the continous impovement and devolopment of Ai systems. This exhibit explores the likely future we will soon experience through the lenses of the possible positive and negative effects/outcomes on humanity individually and as a whole. Through the use of an interactive digital experience, users explore a world consisting of the potential good and bad we may all come face to face with by utilizing plausible real world examples of potential expected outcomes. The expected takeaway for the audience is that they begin to consider and take action in the coming future regarding how these Ai systems are implemented by pushing for positive outcomes while openly protesting the negative ones.

Film industry / freelance design
DEPARTURE
Ian's post graduation plans consist of looking to pursue a career in graphic design in the film industry while also finding a foothold in merchandising with his own designs through an online still as well as professional freelance work. Ian also hopes to explore other avenues including animation design, making good connections with creatives in the design industry and building a professional portfolio.
