Maggie is a curious and creative individual who has always been fascinated with making products that positively impact people and make them smile. At a young age, Magge started making handmade birthday cards for her friends and family, that kickstarted her love for color, typography, and all things design. Maggie has never been one to sit still, she is constantly looking for ways to improve her design skills and seek inspiration from the world around her. She is a skilled mulidisplinary designer with interests in branding, UX/UI, visual design, and design thinking. When not designing, you can find her baking her secret chocolate chip cookies recipe, listenting to one of her many Spotify playlists, or dreaming about her next trip abroad.

Hygge Haven
ABSTRACT
Can you hygge? Maggie presents the, "Hygge Haven," an immerse space where you are able to learn about and engage with the popular Danish concept of hygge. Take a seat on a comfy chair, wrap yourself in a blanket, and be surrounded in a curated atmosphere with cozy items that will help you relax and embrace hygge. Pick up the engaging hygge journal to learn about concept and key elements that come together to make a hygge space. Within the journal, express yourself while engaging with thought prokoing questions and stimulating prompts. Walk away from the exhibit becoming knowledagble about the concept of hygge and identifying ways in which you can incorporate hygge into your own life.

DEPARTURE
As a multidisciplinary designer, Maggie is enthusiastic about embarking upon her design journey post graduation. Maggie is excited to get her hands dirty and work within the lively design agency industry in the Twin Cities. She plans on continuing to develop her skill set and grow as a designer with her deep interests in both user centered design and visual design. Maggie plans to stay in the Minnesota area post grad, while keeping an eager eye open in areas to gain connections and further design experience both within the US and abroad.
